Cherishing the time to connect

I am thankful to maintain contact with some of my friends from my Secondary School and Junior College years. I suppose it takes more effort for both parties to do so when our lives somehow diverge into different paths after the school-going years.

Yesterday, I have had the honour and pleasure to meet up with different groups of friends. In the mid-afternoon, I met ML to catch up over tea. In the evening, SH, JY and I had a lovely dinner at Ippudo, Mandarin Gallery. We each had a bowl of Shiromaru Classic. This is the "original recipe tonkotsu soup served with thin noodles, Rosu chashu (Pork Loin), cabbage, kikurage & scallions". The soup-base was pretty good. Many thanks to SH, we were given a free serving of green-tea ice-cream. It was deliciously good.

What is more precious than good food is the time to connect with cherished friends. Many thanks to my friends who have kindly and steadily maintained contact over the years.

Reconnecting with friends seems to have been the main course, and the dessert was the entree and dessert. :)

Yes Jammie, friends are the main course and the essence. :)

I have lost my classmates due to the many changes of my address. :P

I do miss some of them.

Dear Eastcoastlife, may you somehow get in touch in positive ways with the classmates who have meant a lot to you.

I did not try hard to contact my ex-classmates. :P There are a few I would love to see them again.

I heard some rave reviews on this Mandarin Gallery. I wonder if it's crowded and accessible to the wheelchair bound.

Eastcoastlife: I'm sorry for a late reply. There're lifts to this restaurant so that will help in some ways.

There is usually a long queue at the restaurant, and I personally think that the restaurant needs more measures to be more wheel-chair friendly. For example, there's limited space to move a wheelchair at the main door and the waiting area just next to the main door.
