The tree-barks caught my eyes

It was spring when I had visited Australia about a month ago. Time flies so fast. It has been close to a month since I've returned to Singapore from the vacation in Australia. I don't quite miss Australia, but I miss my friends in Sydney.

Anyway, to get a glimpse of the strange things that would catch the attention of yours truly, you may wish to look at the photo right below. While in Sydney, exploring the streets on my own, I noticed that the tree-barks of the trees in Sydney looked different from the ones in Singapore. I wonder if the tree-barks were the way they were due to the changing four seasons, specifically spring?

Well, if you like to see the world from my peculiar point of view, just look at the tree-bark of the tree below.

Maybe the point that I had wanted to make is that there's beauty in the things that we may hardly bother to notice?

Yeah this tree's bark is really beautiful! I have seen this also in some places in Singapore - I think they have this at Botanical Graden.

That reminds me to take a stroll there again to be renewed.

Oh I've never see such a tree-barks here and we too have 4 seasons. Emmm....would it be to do with the specific tree species? I shall check next time I go into the woods then.

Doreen: Have a good time at the woods. I wish I have a botanist with me to answer your questions. ;)
