Happy Birthday to Eastcoastlife

It was Eastcoastlife's birthday recently.

Here's sharing a lovely rendition of Variations on the Birthday Song performed by American violinist, Rachel Barton Pine. I very much admire Rachel Barton Pine's musicality. I hope that the music will bring Eastcoastlife some delight and inspirations on her birthday.

To celebrate this occasion, here's my humble rendition of the birthday tune played on the double bass specially for Eastcoastlife:

"May your wishes come true, Eastcoastlife."

awwww.... that's so sweet of you! Though my birthday's over, I'm still celebrating it with many friends, associates and students. It's eating, eating and eating. It seems to be the only thing to do in Singapore.

I want to have a Peranakan dinner with you this week.

I had guests in town the last few days so was busy bringing them round Singapore.

Misti: Thanks for joining the celebration.

Eastcoastlife: Happy belated birthday. I'm sorry that I have mistaken your birthday date...

I hope you have a chance to listen to Rachel Barton Pine's rendition of the Birthday tune? It is one of my favourite versions on Youtube so far. :)

Doreen: Thanks for your compliments.
