Today, I have the company of the double bass. I suppose no one could be as dependable as my dear instrument in offering me unconditional company?
I have been doing quite fine with my practice of scales ever since I have started playing scales using Don Hermann's Accompanied Rudiments Course. Somehow, my inertia for playing scales seem to have been overcomed. I still needed to more work where playing scales is concerned, but I should be right on track.
Today, I practised the F Major, F# Major, d minor and d# minor scales. It was rather challenging and tricky playing the d# minor scale. I hope I will do better with more practice.
