Paths crossed by

Maybe there is a reason
For our paths to cross each others
And soon found ourselves
Anchoring at the same pier

Yet we know
We head different destinations
Different routes to pursue
Different winds to guide our paths

When it's time to bid farewell
Parting may not be easy
But holding together
Isn't the answer either

Letting go and sending each other wishes
For a fulfilling journey
For boats are meant to travel
And not stay at one very spot

The world is round
And when the time comes
Distant it may be
Our paths may cross once more

this post reminds me of my marriage with ex... path crossed perhaps to have three wonderful children?

pinkie's statement is so poignant. ending a path once met is always painful, though there were wonderful fruits along the way.
i do think our meetings across thousands and thousands of blogs is not just a mere coincidence. what more, we're gonna be meeting some from overseas too. life is strange in that way. i can be closer to my blogger friends than people we meet everyday.

do you write these poems yourself or is it something you just like by another author?

Hi pinkie and mistipurple:

I didn't expect that others may relate to this poem, even though in different ways.

Kunstemaecker: If the poems were written by someone else, I will put up the necessary acknowledgement.

This poem you see here is written by yours truly.

Pei Yun, I'm very excited that you'll be my guide!

The dates and times should be local.

Back to the poem; well written!

Hi Kunstemaecker: see you in Singapore.

Simple American: Nope. This poem was not written in anticipation of meeting Kunstemaecker.

Caracola: Did anyone tell you that you are a very kind and lovely lady? Thanks for the compliments and your support.

Mystic: My dear friend, thanks for coming by. Nice to know you can relate to this,
