Looks like this will be an interesting show.

Romanian Fantasy is originally scored for the harmonica and the orchestra. Its composer is Fancis Chagrin who was born in Rumania.

The Fantasy, as its name implies, is a colourful piece for solo harmonica and orchestra based on Rumanian folk tunes. All the resources of the harmonica, including its ability to play chords and perform rapid figuration, as well as its lyrical possibilities, are exploited in the Fantasy.

The version of the Romanian Fantasy which you would hear on 13 Nov 2005 is arranged by Ms. Wendy Lee who is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Music Composition and Theory at the University of Michigan.

For more, I have uploaded the information from my informant on this webpage.
