Public Housing in Singapore

High-rise dwellings, Singapore. Posted by Hello

Some facts about public housing in Singapore:

In Singapore, about 84 percent of the population live in public housing. The Housing & Development Board (HDB) is Singapore's public housing authority and a statutory board under the Ministry of National Development. As the public housing authority, HDB plans and develops public housing towns that provide Singaporeans with quality homes and living environments.

In the image shown above, you will see high-rise buildings, often referred to as "flats". These are public housings in which a large percentage of the population dwell in.

Hi Mr Loobz, the camera's nothing grand. I'm using: Kodak EasyShare CX7430 zoom digital camera.

4.0 megapixel picture resolution. 3x optical zoom, 4x advanced digital zoom, lens: 34 -102 mm, focusing range: 2 ft to infinity, with built-in flash.
