18 Sep 2008: Heading to Circular Quay station

Notice Market City in the background.

I was to meet one of my friends, RL, at Circular Quay station that day. I was early, so I decided to take a leisure stroll to Town Hall station after having breakfast. Afterwhich, I could get a train from Town Hall to Circular Quay station.

George Street. This was the view I get to see every time I stepped out of the hotel.

This was one of the roads that I had crossed many times during my stay in Sydney.

Near Town Hall station.

At Town Hall station, I got myself a Day Tripper ticket. This is an all-in-one day ticket for CityRail train, Sydney Buses and Sydney Ferries travel.

It took me quite a while to figure out which platform to use in order to get the right train that would take me from Town Hall station to Circular Quay station. Later did I learnt that sometimes, two different trains heading to various parts of Sydney may share the same platform. The rule of the thumb may be to get the necessary information right first before heading for the platforms. Anyway, I felt pleased with myself for having figured out the right platform eventually.

Circular Quay station, here I come.

I notice you like to take photo in an angle. Very artistic.
